Definition, at long last

“I am unwritten, can’t read my mind, I’m undefined
I’m just beginning, the pen’s in my hand, ending unplanned.”

~ “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfeld

Writing it down changes things, however. With memoirs in particular, the author might think she knows where she’s going (she lived it after all), but the act of writing it down provides new insights. Creativity conjures up surprises, and the perfect ending isn’t the one she first expected.

That’s how it is with my WIP, for which I finally penned an ending. And sent to my editor yesterday!

Houston, we have a book!
