  1. Hi Monica,

I just finished your book and I loved it. I dont read that many books, but I read about your book in the Wadena Pioneer Journal, so I thought I would give it a try. I started and finished the book in the same day! I am truly very sorry for the things that you had to go through. The book also made me look at myself and answer some tough questions, that I would not have asked had I not read your book. Im glad to hear that you are doing well now.

    • I’m glad you liked the book, and I’m glad to hear it made you think. That was one of my goals. Thanks for writing, Wayne! Hope all is well with you.

  2. Hi Monica, I purchased your book from you at the book signing yesterday and I finished it today. Wow! Lots of details I never imagined. You continued to go through the craziness for years after the initial shock. You are correct in that everyone has a story of their own. You hung in there way longer than most ‘good wives’ would have. I just signed up for your blog and would love to email you a message directly. Maureen
